The first annual AFC awards night at the new pavilion was a great success with over 100 people turning up to honour the years successes. More pictures to follow. |

After a very convincing domination of the group stages a heavily weakened Aston Under 9s succumbed to Handsworth and Aston manor, both local rivals, in the finals. The Handsworth game was closer with the future star, Moin, scoring heavily towards the end to make the score respectable - but with some of the other top players not able to perform. Aston manor set a massive score with the bat, having not lost any wickets at all in the 12 overs, and another shaky performance with the bat meant a convincing win for the Perry Barr side. The team will be looking for friendlies over the coming weeks and hope to buiild on the progress we have been making so far. |

 After some drama this week, the matches on the 28th are under threat. The adjusted league table and proposed fixture list is also included. All teams are to report to meeting on Wednesday 1st July at Matt's office.
