For a second year in a row, the BCL will end with an all Kurdish final under the floodlights at Boldmere. However, it was not as smooth and predictable as one would have thought. All nations have strengthened considerably in the last 12 months and possess good team spirit to match some excellent skills. |

Kurdish UK, the Chelsea of the BCL cruised to a win over Sudan today, Sunday 1st November, at Black Patch after Sudan conceded 3 sloppy goals in the first 15 minutes. With Sudan's keeper missing due to injury, he was replaced by a variety of substitutes, the first of whom had a disasterous start. In truth Sudan had the better of possession, with some neat interplay, but struggled to create chances. Kurdish UK broke away several times, and were clinical in their finishing to win 7-2. To watch highlights and find out more about Kurdish UK FC - go to www.kurdishukfc.com. The second semi final is between All Nations and last years winner, Nawroz on Sunday 8th November - 2pm kick off - at Black Patch. The final expected to be played mid week before the end of the month. |
